Crucible Church is a part of the Christian Missionary Alliance denomination in Canada. As a church, we work hard and strive to be a place where people of all walks of life can come and be welcomed warmly, loved, and accepted.

To know Christ, and to make Him known.
Our values revolve around 6 core pillars. They are the following:
Faith,
Community,
Relationships,
Prayer,
Discipleship, and
Evangelism. For more explanation of what each value means, please scroll down the page to learn more.
We aspire to be a transformative, diverse, and welcoming community. Together, we strive to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact on the communities around us.
We aspire to be a community of Christ-followers that is continually transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, His undeserved grace (Rom. 12:2; Eph. 4:24), and by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Gospel is powerful and transformative. It causes change in our lives, moving us towards Christ-likeness in every aspect of our lives.
We aspire to be a diverse community of all peoples and tribes of all nations (Rev. 7:9-12).
We believe that this vision that the apostle John had in Revelation is a vision for Crucible. Our heart is that God's local body is reflected in this Revelation 7 vision within our community in every area of ministry.
We aspire to be a community of Christ-followers that provide a safe, friendly and welcoming space for all, whether it is the first time at the church, or whether you have been at the church a long time - You are welcome here. Welcome home! (Matt. 10:40).
We aspire to be a community that builds and focuses on relationships with one another. This can often mean supporting, encouraging, listening and praying for each other (Acts 2:42-47).
We also aspire to be a community that makes a difference in and around where God has placed us in. Being a difference maker within the city of Richmond, and Metro Vancouver.
Our values revolve around 6 core pillars. They are Faith in Christ Jesus, Community, Relationships, Prayer, Discipleship and Evangelism. We believe that Scripture teaches on all of these values, and we aspire to uphold them within the church community here at Crucible.
We value faith at Crucible, because Scripture teaches that without faith, it is impossible to please God, but that God rewards those who earnestly seek after Him (Hebrews 11:6).
As disciples of Jesus, we seek to honour Christ in the way we live, work, and play. We are commended to have faith as small as a mustard seed (Matt 17:20), and to draw near to God and to hold onto the hope that we profess (Heb. 10:22-23). Faith is essential for us in our relationship with Christ and our life.
We value community at Crucible, because we are not made to be alone! Being in community with others offers us the opportunity to live the Gospel out together (Acts 2:42-47).
Being in community also is important for our own discipleship and sanctification journey. Becoming more like Christ happens in community with other believers, without this, growing in Christ-likeness does not happen.
We value relationships at Crucible! A big part of being in community is being in meaningful relationships. Being in relationship with others in community offers us the opportunity to build one another up (1 Thess. 5:11), love each other as Christ loves us (1 John 4:11), and serve one another in humility and grace.
Opportunities to be in relationship can be found in our small group ministries at the church, and casual spaces where we have the opportunity to break bread and share life together.
We value prayer at Crucible, because Scripture teaches us that it is essential to the Christ life (Philippians 4:6-7). Prayer is relationship with God. It offers us the means to talk with God, but also to listen to God's voice through Scripture and the Holy Spirit.
We encourage disciples of Christ to pray privately, but also communally as a church family, as we seek the Father's face together.
We value Discipleship. The discipleship journey is simply the response to follow Jesus and obey Him in all things (Matt. 28:20).
Christian Discipleship means putting Christ centre in our lives. It means to follow Jesus' commandments and teaching. It means that we are to produce spiritual fruit (Gal 5:22-23).
It means that we love other disciples, and it means that we make disciples, inviting them to follow Christ (Matt. 28:19).
We value Evangelism at Crucible. Evangelism is simply teaching or preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ with the aim to persuade
(2 Corinthians 5:11).
As disciples of Christ, we are all commanded to evangelize, to share our faith, and to testify to the work and ministry of God.
