BAPTISM

Baptism is an opportunity for the person who has chosen to follow Jesus to publicly share their decision to follow Jesus with all of who they are. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality. A Christ follower goes under the waters, to symbolize a dying to their old way of life and patterns. They are brought up from the water to symbolize their new life in Christ. In short, baptism is a tangible and visible expression of a person associating with the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
